Members of the Iowa General Assembly are seeking to enact HF 639, which would protect the property rights of Iowans against eminent domain used by and for private enterprise. It is imperative that the Iowa Senate protects Iowans' property rights from carbon-capture-pipeline schemes.
Contact your state legislators
Please help enact the “No Eminent Domain for Private Gain” Bill (HF 639) by contacting your state senators. Urge them to faithfully abide by the U.S. Constitution and reject all laws that violate it.
URGENT; ACT NOW: HF 639 passed the Iowa General Assembly, and has been sent to Governor Kim Reynolds for her signature or veto. Please call Governor Reynolds, and ask her to stand up for property rights by signing HF 639.
Members of the Iowa General Assembly are seeking to enact legislation protecting and restoring individuals’ property rights while pushing back against eminent domain.
House File 639 (HF 639) was introduced by the House Judiciary Committee. If enacted, it would end eminent domain for carbon-capture pipelines. In other words, HF 639 would be a major step toward protecting and restoring property rights in Iowa. More specifically, HF 639 would:
HF 639 was introduced in response to three carbon capture pipelines that were proposed. One of the companies pushing these pipelines is working with Blackrock and its CEO Larry Fink, one of the most powerful groups/people worldwide that is pushing an extreme, “woke” agenda.
The carbon-capture pipelines are closely connected to the UN’s Agenda 2030 “sustainable development” scheme to eliminate private property and totally reshape society in the name of fighting “climate change.”
Under current Iowa law, these companies have the ability to use eminent domain to confiscate land from farmers and others in order to build the pipelines. This comes despite the fact that these pipelines are entirely private and will not directly benefit the public. Furthermore, some of the companies that would profit are foreign-based and have troubled histories.
Urge your state legislators to stand up for property rights, end eminent domain for private utility projects, and support HF 639.
