He is married to Marianna, his wife of 30-plus years and an immigrant from Poland. She experienced Poland’s communism firsthand and has many stories of the absurdity of that system of government. Together they have raised seven children and have many grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They live in Stillwater, Minnesota, so they are experiencing socialism again in their own state.

Besides hunting and fishing with children and grandchildren, Doctor Anderson, ten years ago founded a children’s charity called GivingHandsNonprofit.org. Over a period of many years, Dr. Anderson has spent a total of over 3.5 years in various countries in Africa, and the Andersons believe education is the only way to help East Africans out of poverty. They scholarship children who would not likely get educated due to their family poverty, have built water supply systems in dry areas, have built 47 libraries, and are in process of opening an orphanage in Kenya.

Dr. Anderson, a lifetime member since September 2008, has hosted many speaker meetings at his conference room for JBS.
