Gatekeepers: Who’s Filtering Your News?
Ever get the feeling that there are gatekeepers out there who only want you to access what they give you?
Back before the days of the Internet, gatekeepers resided in the halls of mainstream media, libraries, and publishing houses. Yet, there were always ways around them that niche publishers and organizations, like The John Birch Society, managed to find. But you would think that the Internet would allow a free and open airing of all viewpoints, right?
This week we discuss the blacklisting of Natural News and ask who gets to define conservatism in this installment of “Analysis Behind the News.”
