Biblical Principles of Civil Government
For 6,000 years of human history, tyranny has been the default form of government. Call him King, Pharaoh, Caesar, or Dictator, man has been ruled by the iron fist of man. Yet, for the past 200 years, America has been the exception to the rule, and American citizens have enjoyed both civil and religious liberty. Why has America been different?
Join Pastor Paul Blair for this fast-paced journey, and learn why America was what it was, where we went off track, and what we can do to change direction. Paul Blair is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma except for the five years he spent in the NFL. His benevolent work began by serving underprivileged families and handicapped children while playing for the Chicago Bears. Today his life revolves around his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his wife Cindy and family, his congregation at Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond, and serving his immediate community through activism and the larger U.S. community by way of educational outreach.
